CAFI History

CAFI – Commodity and Freight Integrators – was founded in 2008 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, as part of the Venus International Group’s strategy to strengthen its presence in global commodity markets. With deep roots in the grain and feed trading sector through its sister companies in Egypt, CAFI was established to serve as the group’s international hub for the sourcing, trading, and transportation of soft commodities including wheat, corn, soybean and soybean meal.

The creation of CAFI marked a significant turning point for the group, allowing it to operate on a broader scale, forge new international partnerships, and expand its capabilities in maritime logistics and supply chain integration. CAFI’s strategic positioning in Dubai—a global trade and logistics hub—enabled the company to access new markets and respond efficiently to the growing demands of clients across the MENA region.

In 2017, Venus International for Export and Import was appointed as CAFI’s official agent in Egypt. This appointment allowed for enhanced collaboration across borders, greater control over logistics and port operations, and seamless coordination between international procurement and local market distribution.

Today, CAFI stands as a key pillar of the Venus International Group’s global operations. The company is recognized for its operational excellence, reliability, and commitment to quality in both trading and freight services. Through a combination of industry experience, strong relationships, and a future-focused approach, CAFI continues to grow its footprint and reinforce its role as a trusted leader in the international soft commodities and logistics space.
